My spies tell me I can expect to receive information from the Cabinet Office tomorrow which sets out the form of the undertaking given by Michael Ashcroft (letter, e mail, oral or semaphore) and the person to whom it was given.

This doesn't sound like a lot of information. Of itself, it is not. But it helps us put the jigsaw together.
