I almost spill my beer! I drop my cashews!

The scandal spreads to North America like a spreading stain.

First MPs in Nova Scotia, one of Canada’s atlantic provinces, are accused of using taxpayers’ money for inappropriate purposes. You know the kind of thing. Giant flat screen televisions. Air conditioning units.

Now the drama moves to the capital, Ottawa, where the Auditor General of Canada wants to check MPs’ expenses.
